My apologies for being absent last week. We’re going through lots of exciting changes at Shoe Metro and I guess Weird Shoe Wednesdays just got lost in the shuffle.
These are what I was planning to post up last week when it would’ve been on-time for Mother’s Day. Kobi Levi is at it yet again with his Mother & Daughter pumps. They’re mary jane pumps where the heel is actually just a smaller version of the upper, bringing to life the mother-daughter concept.
While I get the concept, I wonder if Levi was trying to make some sort of statement about parenting by having the heel, which supports the upper, represent the daughter. Do parents need children more than the children need parents? Anyway, Happy Belated Mothers Day!
